justFRED Member Poll - Contests and Events

In our last polls you told us you want to get timely announcements by email. After some bumps and crashes, that seems to be working properly.

You also told us you wanted more contests, events and photos (in that order).

So the contests are back on track. (We'll be able to announce some prizes for 2007 and 2008 in the next little while...) Thanks to the efforts of some dedicated members and some of the justFRED staff, the calendar is beginning to fill with events, and our photo galleries are growing in volume and popularity.

We'd now like to ask you to help us with the next burning question: What sorts of prizes most interest you? Choose as many of the items as you wish from the list. If you think we omitted something important from the list, please tell us.

I believe that is a good idea and the seniors and the younger people can learn to enjoy getting out to meals ,free passes to local games, and plays and to share ideas with one another etc.

Families in Fredericton don't have a lot of activities to enjoy together and those that are around aren't cheap. Passes to events, movies, plays, games, etc help those with limited resources keep the family entertained.....of course free meals don't hurt either! :p

Reason - they're things I would normally spend money on so they would save me money.

I suppose that we all have preferences, but I don't think that I know of anyone who would turn something away that was free! :)

All of those are good ideas depending on who you are and what interests you. I am most interested in things for kids, free meals, activity passes, and things I could give as gifts to my wife and kids.

I think the free passes and free meals are great ideas. Definitly would help some people get out of the house this winter where they might not normally be able to afford a night out (like me :) )

There are a lot of good ideas there but I chose the passes & memberships, computers & electronics, & of course who would ever pass up a free meal.
